LOʻI CLEAN UP IN MAUNAWILI

Saturday December 1st, 7:30am-12:00pm

In an effort to get closer to the community and learn more about the Hawaiian culture we organized a half day with Hoʻokuaʻāina, a non-profit organization using Hawaiian traditions of kalo (taro) cultivation to improve the lives of today’s youth and build a healthy community.

This half day would be spent at cleaning a lo’i (wet kalo patch) and playing in the mud. This is a really good and physical bounding activity.
