We will be playing UH at 1pm at Kapiolani Park Turn up at least one hour early with a CLEAN and proper kit (gum shield, boots, long navy blue socks, rugby shorts). BE ON TIME Proper training has resumed. _________________ HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! _________________ December 2009 Thank you all who attended the great Christmas party. Dear Team, Jesus (aka Mark), has organized our Christmas Party. It will be on December 19th starting at 7pm at the Snappers Bar. There will a $5 charge, and we will have a food and a Keg!!. After food at 11pm, a pub crawl will ensue -- 12 bars of Christmas. Starting at Snappers Waikiki in the Discovery bay Center. If possible wear a Harlequins shirt of some kind. Location can be found at the : Restaurant Locations - Google Map Thank you Jesus. Anyone interested in playing for the Islanders in the upcoming tourney needs to contact Lofi at 808-636-7051. He is looking for those players to attend his practices; Tues and Wed. (2nd %26 3rd Dec) When you call he will give you directions to the practice pitch and tourney info. I believe the tourney is starting at 10 AM on Friday 5th Dec at Kapiolani Park. Larry ___________________________________________ November 2008 Ladies and Gentlemen, The AGM has been pushed forward to make allowance for students study needs, holiday season committments and the need to have the Harlequins up and organised for the coming season and the 2009 tournament. It will be held at the Eastside grill this Sunday (23rd Nov) at 4 pm. If there's too much of a crowd watching NFL games we'll move it to The Varsity next door. This is an opportunity to run for an officers position - President, VP, Treasurer and Secretary as well as Social Chair - and to do that you need to be a dues paying member for the up coming season as you also need to be to vote. Larry ___________________________________________ <b>October 2008</b> The Hawaii Harlequins International Rugby Tournament is now over. Thank you all those that played and supported this tournament. Congratulations to the Islanders on their win. OCTOBER 24th-25th Kapiolani Park - Honolulu - HI - USA GAME SCHEDULE Tuesday October 21st at 4 pm the first of the old boys games. HOBBOS vs "Old Growth". Interested members of Epping RUFC welcome to participate. Friday October 24th beginning at 12:00 pm games in a round robin format in which teams get to play all other teams in the tournament. Finishes at 6 pm (sunset at 6pm) Saturday October 25th begins at 10 am, continuing the round robin format. The 2nd old boys game begins at between 2:30 and 3 pm followed by the tounament final.
